• Role Description This is a full-time hybrid(if you live in Montevideo, Rio de Janeiro or Florianopolis) or remote role for a Senior Software Engineer at Tuna Payments.
• As a Senior Software Engineer at Tuna Payments, you”ll have the opportunity to work on either our Core team or our Split Payments team.

• NET Core, PostgreSQL (including database modeling and SQL skills), and security will be crucial.
• Experience with fintechs or a strong background in financial services/payments is highly beneficial.

• Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend code for our payment orchestration SaaS (Core team) or expand our split payments product offerings, including reconciliation and receivables registration (Split Payments team).
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of our software solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Leverage your experience with PostgreSQL for efficient database modeling and SQL development.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of our software systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly Brazil”s Central Bank regulations for Payfacs.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Qualifications Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a similar role.
